Last week the Society of Bookbinders recognized our work

Boyanski Sanokhod to win third prize in the Book Arts category in the 2024 edition of the International Bookbinding Competition.

This has now been a project more than 3 years in the making and I wish for it many more opportunities to be seen around the world, so people can truly enjoy it.

I'd like to thank @societyofbookbinders for continuing to organize such a wonderful and inclusive event. Very grateful to the judges and organizers for the appreciation and opportunity to showcase the work.

Thank you to my mother @moon.thimble for her contributions in the textile and woven aspects in the work. Thank you to my father @i.daskalov.silversmith for his silver and woodworking skills that frame the whole piece together. Thank you to @ignite.jpeg for helping me visualize the legend of this object. Thanks to my wife @tina.daskalova for her patience with me during such an intensive, ambitious and full of uncertainties project.

Thank you to all the people who got to see it live and couldn't wait to write with congratulations. Thank you to everyone who wrote me messages and emails during the past two years, even though I don't respond. Thank you to everyone who liked my content, subscribed, bought something from me in the past - you've been instrumental in my journey in book making.

Thanks to all makers and artists for the continued inspiration. Thanks to all event organizers and collectors for supporting us.
